Item 8.01 Other Events
On March 2, 2023, Lexaria Bioscience Corp. (“Lexaria”) announced the results from its diabetes animal model study DIAB-A22-1 which evaluated the effects of DehydraTECH™ processed cannabidiol (“CBD”), on obese diabetic-conditioned Zucker rats during an eight week study. Results showed that DehydraTECH-CBD produced weight loss and improved triglyceride and cholesterol levels in the obese diabetic-conditioned rats.
